Pulse, a leading healthcare recruitment agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Occupational Therapist specializing in Paediatrics for a rewarding opportunity in London. Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of paediatric clients, identifying their needs and creating tailored intervention plans.

  2. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address the unique challenges of each child, focusing on enhancing their developmental and functional abilities.

  3. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, physiotherapists, and healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for paediatric clients.

  4. Education and Support: Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers, offering valuable insights into therapeutic strategies and home-based interventions.

  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

  6. Continuous Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest developments in paediatric occupational therapy, attending relevant training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  2. Experience: Proven experience as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist with a focus on paediatrics. Experience in a variety of paediatric settings is desirable.

  3. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.

  4. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to different working environments and a willingness to embrace new challenges.

  5. Passion: A genuine passion for working with paediatric clients and a commitment to improving their quality of life through occupational therapy.

  6. Professionalism: Adherence to ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the rights and dignity of clients.
