As an StR Lower Psychiatrist specializing in Old Age, you will play a crucial role in the provision of high-quality mental health care for elderly individuals. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic healthcare team, contributing to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders specific to the elderly population.
Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough clinical assessments and provide accurate diagnoses for elderly patients with psychiatric disorders.

Treatment Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of elderly individuals, incorporating a range of therapeutic interventions.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Completion of core psychiatry training
- Registration on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry or eligibility for entry
- Experience and interest in Old Age Psychiatry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
