Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the occupational needs of individuals in community settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their mental health and well-being goals.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including social workers, psychologists, and healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and activities to enhance clients' daily living skills and independence.
- Participate in care planning and reviews, ensuring that interventions align with the evolving needs of clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to professional standards and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration and Band 5/6 experience (HCPC)
- Proven experience working in community mental health settings.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills to tailor interventions to individual client needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
