We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client's reputable hospital in Hampshire on a locum basis. This role is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a 2 month period. 

As a Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients within a hospital environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans to meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
  • Providing education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to facilitate optimal outcomes and discharge planning.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
