Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist with expertise in Paediatrics to join our dedicated team in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to pediatric patients, contributing to their development and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of paediatric patients to determine their specific occupational therapy needs.
  2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  4. Provide guidance and support to parents/caregivers, offering strategies to enhance the therapeutic process at home.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
  6. Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in paediatric occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  1. Valid HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  2. Previous experience working at Band 6/7 level in a paediatric setting.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  4. Proven ability to assess and treat paediatric patients with a variety of developmental and physical challenges.
  5. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to occupational therapy practice.
  6. Commitment to continued professional development.
