Are you an empathetic Physiotherapist with a keen interest?

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our fantastic NHS client’s team based in London. This vacancy is available for the successful therapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for a period of 3-months.

The successful physiotherapist must be supportive and flexible when managing a caseload of patients as part of the Discharge to Assess team. You will be providing specialist assessments and treatments to a caseload, managing individualised care plans and ensuring that all patients are working towards realistic goals to ensure an efficient and safe discharge. 

You will be working as part of a large, multidisciplinary team, alongside other physiotherapists and related clinical staff.  

All candidates applying must have a valid HCPC registration, a relevant Physiotherapy Degree/ Qualification, and previous experience in a similar setting to be considered for this role.

Skills and experience needed:

  • Previous experience within acute settings
  • Previous discharge planning and Oncology experience
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Physiotherapist
  • HCPC registration

Duties will include:

  • Care-coordinating
  • Attending MDT meetings
  • Contribute to the holistic assessment of physical and mental wellbeing needs.
  • Assessment and intervention of individual patients needs and progress.
  • Treating patients for a range of moderate to complex mental health conditions
  • Working with other healthcare professionals
