Are you an empathetic Physiotherapist with a keen interest in acute care?

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our fantastic NHS Trust acute team based in London. This vacancy is available for the successful therapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for a period of 3-months.

As a Band 6 Acute Physiotherapist, the post holder will be responsible for providing specialised physiotherapy services to patients. Your expertise will contribute to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients, helping them achieve their optimal functional outcomes.

Skills and experience needed:

  • Previous experience within acute settings
  • Previous discharge planning and Oncology experience
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Physiotherapist
  • HCPC registration

Duties will include:

  • Care-coordinating
  • Attending MDT meetings
  • Contribute to the holistic assessment of physical and mental wellbeing needs.
  • Assessment and intervention of individual patients needs and progress.
  • Treating patients for a range of moderate to complex mental health conditions
  • Working with other healthcare professionals
