Pulse are currently seeking a determined Band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Paediatrics Mental Health team, within a  dynamic neuro team based within our NHS client’s service  based in London. This position will be available for the appointed Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working part-time hours on a locum basis

The post holder will deliver psychological aspects of care within the paediatrics multidisciplinary service providing specialist assessment and interventions for patients and their families as well as offering advice and consultation to colleagues. The workload varies, including working with patients on the ward and seeing patients in the clinic. The Clinical Psychologist in the post will work in a highly specialist Neuropsychology service for adults with acquired and long-term neurological conditions. The post holder will be part of an interdisciplinary team, providing clinical psychology input to service users with acquired brain injury/neurological conditions. To liaise with internal and external professionals, family members and service users. To engage in relevant research and advise other professionals as appropriate There are good working relationships with medical, nursing and therapy colleagues. The post holder will be well supported. The post holder will need to be prepared to work in a responsive way to the demands of several teams.

To be considered for this role, you must:

. Clinical psychologist with paeds experience and ADOS-2 trained.

. Locum must have CDT/CAMHS experience. 

· Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology

· Be HCPC registered

· Have a proven track record in adult mental health

· Be analytical and show good attention to detail
