Are you an Physiotherapist who specialises in Neurology?
Our NHS client is looking for an experienced and caring Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their community Neuro/Rehab team based in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an initial period.
The candidate will be an integral part of our rehabilitation team, working with individuals who have experienced neurological challenges. The successful candidate will provide specialised assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support clients in regaining functional independence and improving their quality of life.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be HCPC registered as an Physiotherapist
- Hold the relevant degree/qualifications in physiotherapy
- Have previous experience within an NHS neuro setting
- Hold a full driver’s licence and have own vehicle
- Be able to develop a rapport with patients
- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Duties within this role will include:
- Carrying out brain injury assessments
- Working within a multidisciplinary team
- Providing support for carers and family – advice on care plans after discharge
- Setting realistic client centred goals to help with development
- Neuro splinting and casting
