Are you an empathetic CAMHS Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?

We are now recruiting for a Band 7 CAMHS LD Practitioner to join an innovative team to join a well-established NHS trust based in Ealing, Middlesex. The role is available to start as soon as possible, and the appointed candidate will need to work full-time hours per week for an initial 3-month period contract likely to be extended .

To carry out LD and a robust mental health assessment, risk assessment followed by a risk management plan on all young people and children referred to CAMHS and conducting 5 days follow-up on referrals from the crisis team. The suitable candidate must have substantive CAMHS experience to work in a busy front door service. The post holder will be a nurse with appropriate professional or regulatory body (NMC). They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties, they will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessment, risk assessment and management.

Skills and experience needed:

  • Show excellent CAMHS experience
  • Able to complete urgent assessments
  • Extensive experience of working as a CAMHS Practitioner
  • Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
  • Experience of a wide range of young people’s mental health presentations
  • Can work well independently and as part of the team
