Pulse are currently looking for a HCPC registered Band 8c Consultant Neuropsychologist to join our support team in Rhondda, CynonTaf, Wales. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible on a full-time, permanent basis
Our client is looking for a highly specialist Consultant Neuropsychologist to conduct detailed assessment and formulation, therapeutic intervention, and neuropsychological assessments, covering both mental health and organic problems, such as dementia. The post holder will be required to provide a qualified specialist psychological service to Older People as part of the community Mental Health Team and Memory Assessment Service and Inpatient settings such as wards for Older People.
Requirements:
- Have HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
- Hold a doctorate-level qualification in Psychology (Clinical)
- Applicants must already have post qualification experience and skills in working with people with a range of neurological conditions such as, acquired brain injury and stroke, and be proficient in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments, as well as in multi-agency and multi-systems working.
