The Role: As a BAND 8a CAMHS LD Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with learning disabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed psychological assessments of young people with learning disabilities
- Developing and implementing individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment plans
- Providing consultation and support to families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conducting risk assessments and contributing to risk management plans
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure holistic and effective care
- Supporting the development and delivery of CAMHS LD services

Requirements:
- HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with experience in CAMHS LD
- Demonstrable experience in conducting psychological assessments and interventions with children and adolescents with learning disabilities
- Strong knowledge of relevant therapeutic approaches and interventions
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
