The Role: As a BAND 8a CAMHS LD Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with learning disabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed psychological assessments of young people with learning disabilities
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment plans
  • Providing consultation and support to families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conducting risk assessments and contributing to risk management plans
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure holistic and effective care
  • Supporting the development and delivery of CAMHS LD services

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with experience in CAMHS LD
  • Demonstrable experience in conducting psychological assessments and interventions with children and adolescents with learning disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of relevant therapeutic approaches and interventions
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
