Pulse is now seeking to recruit an experienced Band 6/7 Physiotherapist to join our client’s well-established NHS trust based in London. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for an initial month.

The post holder will work closely with the senior health therapy team, and the STAR team (Emergency department team. The successful physiotherapist will have exposure to a multitude of exciting clinical areas, medicine, senior health, cardiac and renal to name but a few. The postholders main duties will involve providing ward-based therapy, assessment, intervention, and discharge planning to inpatients working closely with the multidisciplinary team. You will support the therapy department with administration duties and clinical duties.          

Skills and experience needed:

  • Member of the HCPC
  • Moving and handling experience, using equipment as required
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of clinical conditions and discharge planning
