Pulse is currently seeking a determined Band 8a  Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Community Mental Health team, within a fantastic NHS trust based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. This position will be available for the assigned Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working full-time or part-time hours for an initial period of 6 months.

The postholder will be working with people with serious mental illness (including Personality Disorder diagnoses and Psychosis/Bipolar Disorder diagnoses); providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapy/care planning advice; consultation and advice to non-psychologists; as well as facilitation of groups. Applying candidate should have a previous experience within a similar setting for this role.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
