Pulse is now seeking to recruit a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the A&E team within an NHS trust based in Prescot, Lancashire. The post is available for the successful physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for an initial 4-week placement with a view to extend.

The postholder will assess and diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments in patients within the A&E department and Frailty service, the successful candidate will develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address acute injuries and provide rehabilitative care for frail patients. Applying therapists should have previous experience in a similar setting.

To be considered for this role you must: 

  • Have previous experience in a similar NHS role
  • Have HCPC registration 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Manual handling experience 
  • Hold the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy
