Pulse is currently recruiting for a compassionate Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our client’s well-established NHS trust based in Stafford, Staffordshire. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, working full-time hours each week for an initial 12-week period with a view to extend.  

The empathetic PWP will be providing general assessments and treatments to a clinical caseload of adults with mild mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to focus exclusively on assessments, which are crucial in helping individuals receive the appropriate care and support they need.

To be considered for this role, the PWP must:

  • Hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Low-Intensity Therapy
  • Have previous experience within an IAPT setting
  • Showcase excellent communication and listening skills
  • Have the ability to build a good rapport with a varied caseload
