Our NHS client is currently seeking a motivational Band 6/7 Physiotherapist to join their fantastic rehabilitation team based within Dagenham, Essex. The role is available to start ASAP, offering full-time hours per week with the placement due to end on 29.03.2024.

The caseload consists of patients on early support discharge from hospital; commonly encountered conditions include falls, # NOF, rehab post deconditioning from acute, rehab post infection such as UTI, LRTI, COPD management, PD management. The postholder will be carrying out the assessment, treatment and rehab of the caseload, and as this is a community role will be visiting patients in their homes. Applying therapists must have previous rehab Physiotherapy experience in acute or community setting.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Completed the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy
  • Previous NHS experience in a similar rehabilitation setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to establish a rapport with patients
  • Good time management
  • Interest in anatomy and physiology
  • Genuine concern for the health and wellbeing of service users
