Pulse Nursing are offering a variety of shifts for registered and experienced District Nurses across Bristol. Our District Nurses provide care to clients with a variety of needs within their home environment throughout the community.

District Nurses enable people across Bristol to pursue happy and healthy lives. They prevent extra pressure on the NHS hospitals by freeing up beds and looking after patients at their home. This rewarding role puts the patients and community at the heart of everything our District Nurses do.

Shifts available from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Rates £22.00 - £34.60 per hour.

What you will be doing as a District Nurse

  • Providing basic care such as checking temperature, blood pressure and breathing
  • Changing catheters as required
  • Diabetes Care
  • Medicine management
  • Compliant with documentation
  • Wound management & symptom control
  • Visiting a variety of clients, caring for their needs in timely manner.

Pulse Nursing agency requirements

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Valid NMC registration
  • A minimum of 6 Months NHS experience within the last 2 years
  • Valid driving license with use of own car

Additionally, you will need to meet our framework compliance requirements which we can guide you through. Nurses with experience working in A&E, ITU as well as surgical and medical settings can also apply to this role as we can upskill you to work within the community.
