Pulse is currently seeking a band 8b Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic client’s CAMHS team based in London. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering part-time hours for a 3-month period.  

The postholder will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessments of children, young people, and their families referred to the in-patient team based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources, including psychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with children, young people, family members and others involved in the client's care. The post holder will also be required to undertake risk assessment and management for individual clients and advise other professions on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
