Pulse is searching for a dependable Band 8a Clinical/counselling Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Inpatient team within an NHS trust based in Epsom, Surrey. This position will be available for the assigned Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working part-time hours each week for 6 months with a view to extending.
The post holder will be required to conduct comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments, formulate and implement psychological interventions, carry out comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments and formulation, and plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of psychology interventions and consultations to support people with specific and complex needs. To be professionally, legally responsible, and accountable for all clinical work and care aspects. To maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Trust Policies and Procedures
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Be HCPC registered
- Have a proven track record in adult mental health
- Be analytical and show good attention to detail
