Pulse is currently seeking a band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic NHS client’s CAMHS team based in Wolverhampton. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a 3-month period.
The post holder will be a part of the Looked after children’s team. Need someone who has experience in working therapeutically with looked after children. Ideally, the post holder will be trained in DDP or Thera play or some attachment therapy. The successful psychologist must have lots of experience and be able to as the post holder will be working with a traumatised, complex client group. The role is available as soon as possible, working part-time, 15 hours per week. This will be for 3 months, but there is a solid possibility of extending after 3 months.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Be HCPC registered
- Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
- Be analytical and show good attention to detail
