An exciting new opportunity has opened for a qualified and experienced High Intensity Band 6/7 CBT Therapist to join a dynamic talking therapies with a private trust based in Birmingham. The appointed Cognitive behavioural therapist will be able to start as soon as possible, working full-time/part-time hours each week for an ongoing period.

The post holder will have the chance to utilize their expertise in helping individuals overcome a wide range of mental health challenges. Your role will involve providing evidence-based CBT interventions, conducting assessments, and collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans to help treat patients who have a range of mental health conditions.

Rates: £23 - £27 per hour

To be considered for this role applying therapists must have:

  • A post graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • Completed LTC training
  • Extensive Mental Health experience
  • The ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Be comfortable providing 1:1 or group consultation (face-to-face and via telephone)
  • An IAPT supervision course is ideal, but not essential for the role
  • Be empathetic and understanding
