Pulse is currently seeking a qualified and experienced band 7/8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic NHS client’s core CAMHS team based in Barnsley, Yorkshire. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an ongoing period. As this is a band 7/8a position, our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.
The post holder will be responsible for providing highly specialist therapy to children, offering interventions and treatments. The post holder may be required to perform generic CAMHS assessments. This is a full-time position offering competitive rates. The post holder must have experience of working with CYP and have worked in CAMHS, and the successful psychologist would also need to have experience with trauma / developmental trauma.
Rates: £27.14-£31.51
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Be HCPC registered
- Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
- Be analytical and show good attention to detail
