Pulse is now seeking a band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an acute adult ward, within an NHS trust based in London The role is available to start as soon as possible, working 37.5 hours for an initial period of 3-4 months

Candidates applying should have Experience working in the community, but it is not essential. Must have at least 1-year experience of working in physical dysfunction Occupational within the last two years.  Providing Occupational Therapy assessments of adult patients in their own homes. Essential to have skills in Moving and Handling MUST have a full driving license and access to a car for work purposes.

Duties within this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • To work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers and colleagues
  • Provide specialist, evidence based Occupational Therapy interventions to a caseload of patients to ensure good clinical outcomes
  • Monitor patient progress
  • Be legally and professionally accountable for all work
