Salary: £27,055 - £35,572 (annual) depending on experience
Role: Permanent, Full-Time
Pulse Nursing are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse to join a leading private and independent hospital in Southend-on-Sea! A new opportunity has opened to join their busy surgical ward providing post-surgery care to the patients.
The remarkable hospital has 49 private rooms each with en-suite facilities, four operating theatres, an endoscopy unit and outpatient and diagnostic facilities.

While working within a multidisciplinary team within surgical ward, you will need to be able to plan, deliver, implement and evaluate high standards of patient focused care as a registered nurse. You will be undertaking care for patients who have had a wide range of operations, including orthopaedics, ENT and gynaecology.
Responsibilities:
- Focused on post-operative care
- Assist, plan and deliver in recovery process
- Providing emotional support
- Liaising with patients, families and consultants
- Provide recommendations to improve patients’ wellbeing
Requirements:
- NMC-registered nurse
- Previous surgical experience
- Minimum of 6 months post registration
