Ambulatory Theatre Practitioner

Location: Central Manchester, UK

Salary: Band 5/6 (annual) depending on experience

Role: Permanent, Part-time (20 hours a week)

 

Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting for an Ambulatory Theatre Practitioner to join one the largest private healthcare organisations in Manchester!

You will have the opportunity to work with a large team that covers multi-specialities working in the Ambulatory Care and Diagnostics Unit. Their specialities include ENT, dermatology, endocrinology, oncology, cardiology, general medicine, orthopaedics, physiotherapy and more! No day is the same due to the variety of duties you’ll have, but it is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career further!

The well-renowned hospital has 44 private rooms each with en-suite facilities, five laminar flow theatres and one hybrid theatre, level 3 critical care unit, an endoscopy suite, paediatric services for children, physiotherapy and more!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating all aspects of patient care
  • Delivering a high standard of patient care applying evidence-based practice
  • Being able to work in a multidisciplinary team in all areas of the day surgery and supporting your colleagues
  • You will be able to work across scrub, endoscopy and recovery to support your daily tasks and learn both new procedures and techniques!

We are looking for you to be:

  • NMC Registered / HCPC Registered
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience including scrub
