Scrub Theatre Practitioner
Location: Central Manchester, UK
Salary: Band 5/6 (annual) depending on experience
Role: Permanent, Full-time & Part-time positions available
Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting for an Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join one the largest private healthcare companies in Manchester!
The well-renowned hospital has 44 private rooms each with en-suite facilities, five laminar flow theatres and one hybrid theatre, level 3 critical care unit, an endoscopy suite, paediatric services for children, physiotherapy and more! You will have the opportunity to work with a large theatre team in various environments and see simple and complex surgeries. These specialities can include general, orthopaedic, ENT, plastics and ophthalmic!
They have opportunities to fill a permanent position but are looking for both full-time and part time candidates!

Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating all aspects of patient care
- Delivering a high standard of patient care applying evidence-based practice
- Being able to work in a multidisciplinary team in all areas of theatre and supporting your colleagues
- Run a theatre list without supervision
- Promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, organising data, interpreting information and making justifiable assessments
- Ensuring patient record is completed correctly and in a timely manner
We are looking for you to be:
- An NMC Registered Nurse, or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
