Pulse Nursing are offering flexible shifts in Bath with escalated rates between £38.00 – £47.00 per hour, with a range of shifts available including long days, earlies, lates, nights and twilights.
Midwife responsibilities includes:
- Supporting the woman through all the stages of pregnancy, including antenatal, postnatal, labour, delivery.
- Checking the position of baby, ensuring mother is comfortable.
- Giving a plan of care to the mother and providing any pain relief including epidural.
- Keeping in contact with, and supporting, doctors and other departments.
- Delivering the baby safely, and examine the new-born, assisting with feeding and care of the baby.
- Giving advice to families post delivery and supporting with the future.
Midwifery Role Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration
- Membership to the RCM or Unison
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Midwifery setting
- To meet the compliance requirements of both the NHS and private sector
- Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
