You will be required to support the unit by providing a high standard of care for each individual newborn, support their families and assess their care needs.
Pulse Nursing are offering flexible shifts in the Bath area with escalated rates between £38.00 – £47.00 per hour, with a range of shifts available including long days, earlies, lates, nights and twilights.
Neonatal Nurse responsibilities includes:
- Assess and evaluate premature and sick newborn infants
- Provide a supportive and nurturing environment for babies who have complex needs; meeting all their needs, liaising and working with other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Encourage families to be involved in the care of their child.
- Using your skills to give high levels of care, whilst learning new skills.
- Contribute to maintaining the ward environment ensuring it is safe, clean and tidy.
Neonatal Nurse Role Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Neonatal setting
- To meet the compliance requirements of both the NHS and private sector
- Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
- QIS (Qualified in Speciality) is not required
