Pulse Nursing are delighted to offer Registered Mental Health Nurse’s new shift opportunities in Camberwell. You will be working with children that have mental health traumas and complex needs. Your role will include safeguarding and building relationships with young people aged between 13 and 18 who have gone through significant changes and ordeals within their lives.
You will be joining a dedicated, passionate, and extremely supportive team.
Training is available to ensure safety and consistent levels of care are provided to these young people.
Pulse Nursing are offering several shifts, flexible across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams.
Rates are between £21.00 and £28.00
Registered Mental Health Nurse responsibilities includes:
- Previous experience with children who have complex mental health needs
- Working across a variety of shift patterns which include nights
- Ability to adapt to challenging and escalating situations
- Restraint Training is essential (full 3-5 day face-to-face PMVA/MAPA training must be demonstrated and dated within a year. PMVA training can be arranged with us.
- Ability to fully comply with Care Plans and Procedures and not deviate from these to ensure protection of the child and yourself
- Have a passion for children's care and be committed to making positive outcomes and impacts in their life
Registered Mental Health Nurse Role Requirements:
- NMC Registration 6 months
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Mental Health setting - able to provide 2 references for verification
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV
- Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
