What we are looking for:

Krafton Americas Inc. is seeking an IT Network Administrator to join our team full-time in El Segundo, California. As a key player in the gaming industry, we are dedicated to delivering top-tier gaming experiences. We are looking for a talented individual to ensure the smooth running of our computer systems, resolve technical issues, and maintain our office’s computing needs, ensuring all infrastructure conforms to companywide standards.

Role Summary: The IT Network Administrator will be pivotal in maintaining the technical integrity of our office’s infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting, network optimization, and ensuring seamless coordination with IT management across all Krafton Global Offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on new software and computer equipment.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.
  • Manage and optimize Client/Server architectures.
  • Handle TCP/UDP and real-time networking protocols.
  • Utilize network debugging skills and tools, and perform network performance/bandwidth analysis.
  • Understand and troubleshoot network protocols, ensuring efficient communication over these protocols.
  • Analyze network exchanges at a detailed level to identify and reduce latency.
  • Support Windows and Mac OS clients and provide LAN/WAN support.
  • Support industry-specific applications such as Unreal Engine, Perforce, Parsec, and VPN.
  • Work on a variety of devices, from desktop clients to mobile phones and consoles.
  • Self-organize and take ownership of projects from inception to completion.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 5+ years of experience in the IT field.
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems.
  • Experience with PowerShell/Scripting.
  • Experience with Firewalls, Switches, and Network Stack (Palo Alto and Juniper preferred).
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs and push/pull carts as necessary.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with gaming industry applications.
  • Coordination experience with global offices.
