KRAFTON, Inc. is a collective of independent game development teams responsible for various entertainment properties, including PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, ELYON, and TERA. The name, which is derived from the word craftsmanship, is an acknowledgement of the company’s never-ending pursuit of innovation and creating engaging experiences. KRAFTON currently consists of PUBG Studio, Striking Distance Studios, Bluehole Studio, and RisingWings.

KRAFTON is rapidly growing and seeking a talented and passionate Senior Producer to join the PUBG Universe team in our Santa Monica office. The Sr. Producer will report to the Narrative Director and develop live-action feature films and television projects as part of the Universe team’s goal of expanding our global IP. They will be tasked with identifying partnerships and shepherding development, and as such, should have experience working with challenging creatives and possess existing relationships within the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a film or television producer, outstanding people skills, and a passion to tell stories in various mediums. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify partnerships and opportunities in the evolving media landscape
  • Act as an intermediary between Hollywood talent (writers, directors, producers, actors) and the
    PUBG Universe team
  • Work directly with the Universe team to identify stories and projects which can appeal to specific
    demographics/markets
  • Lead development and production of multiple film/tv projects – this includes evaluating
    submissions, working directly with talent, and assisting physical production teams when
    appropriate
  • Establish connections and maintain professional relationships between PUBG Universe and top
    talent / talent agencies
  • Stay informed on market / industry trends
  • Assist partners in Global Business Development with deal making, finance/license opportunities,
    and packaging

 Required Skills

  • 5+ years experience working in film/tv development, production, or relevant entertainment sector
  • Thorough knowledge of the story-development process and of successful intellectual properties in
    today's popular culture
  • Comfortable working with writers/directors/actors/producers. Excellent communication and
    interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working in a challenging and ever-changing creative team environment
  • Candidate must be extremely passionate about gaming and cinematic storytelling. Deep
    knowledge of storytelling across all mediums (film/tv/games/comics/prose...etc.)
  • Existing professional network in global entertainment
  • Optimism and ambition – candidate must be willing to take big swings in an effort to help redefine
    transmedia storytelling
