Job Purpose:

  • This role oversees the strategy, planning, buying, measurement, execution and optimization of all Growth related marketing [acquisition, engagement and retention related marketing activities; excluding SEO] for 5 MENA markets.
  • Responsible for the development and optimization of all media strategy, campaigns and budgets across all digital channels with overall responsibility for the core B2C product and in conjunction with B2B [and other] stakeholders where relevant.
  • You will also lead and define standards and playbooks producing the “ways of working” that gets applied by the team in the form of always-on multichannel campaigns while driving innovation and establishing future capabilities.


Thought Leadership:

  • Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition, retention and reactivation.
  • Continue to refine and expand our channel strategy and execution across all approaches: performance marketing, CRM + app and brand advertising.
  • Own strategy for non-digital Growth marketing related activity and co-ordinate with the relevant teams.
  • Work with the Data Science and Growth peers to identify, test and adopt new data models, predictive models and insights to improve the impact and value of various forms of communication with a focus on attribution and incrementally.
  • Own the marketing analytics process including collaborative ownership of roadmaps and growth focused BI projects.
  • Manage alignment of team focus by understanding organization and department OKRs and making decisions/providing direction that supports those OKRs.
  • Contribute to the vision for marketing technology and how that will drive the growth strategy.


Results Leadership:

  • Determine and manage marketing budget across 5 markets: Ensure actual results meet budget requirements, close management of KPIs.
  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of marketing analytics and leverage this knowledge to ensure efficient management of all marketing activities.
  • Develop and maintain a robust testing plan across new and existing channels to diversify spend and minimize reliance on primary channels.


People Leadership:

  • Inspire and motivate a high-performing marketing team, including recruiting, performance management and professional development of HQ based team and syndicated team members across 5 markets
  • Take a hands-on role to help channel managers optimize their channels; ensure successful execution against established goals; analyze, report on, and continuously improve your teams performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence and Growth Lead peers to design test strategies and maintain a culture of data-driven decision making.
