You: An entrepreneurial, determined, and action-oriented problem-solver ready to take on the role of our first Participant Supply Lead. This highly collaborative role is central to driving top-of-the-funnel activity and crafting innovative acquisition strategies for our amazing participants, who make Prolific tick. The successful candidate will generate and operationalise campaigns, processes, and approaches for taking our participant pool to new depths and heights, working in close partnership with Marketing and Data to ensure its health, and with Product to optimise the pool's segmentation and utilisation.

The Role

Initially positioned within the Marketing Team, the role will transition to our Client Services Team to further develop our offerings, with strategic input from the Head of Client Services. We’re looking for a dynamic individual who embodies entrepreneurial spirit, excels in a collaborative environment, isn’t afraid to solve never-solved-before problems, and possesses a broad generalist skill set in growth marketing, operations, partnerships, project management and strategic influence.

What you'll be doing

  • Establish and execute on growth strategies for expanding and diversifying the participant pool alongside our two participant-pool facing Product teams
  • You’ll be collaborating with Marketing and Data on maintaining its health and with Product on optimising participant journeys
  • Initiate and manage both ad-hoc and long-term partnerships to extend Prolific’s reach and enhance participant pool diversity, including collaborations with local marketing agencies, existing partners, panel providers, and co-marketing efforts
  • Leverage your budget and a broad array of channels (paid, earned, and owned) to drive participant acquisition and growth
  • Convert complexity into clarity, transforming ad-hoc requests into standardised playbooks
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships across sales, product, marketing, and client services teams to swiftly respond to current needs and proactively address potential future requirements
  • Employ strong influencing skills to align cross-functional teams with participant pool strategies and objectives
  • Lead the strategic transition of the participant pool management from the Marketing Team to the Client Services Team, aligning with broader monetisation and pricing strategies

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrate self-starting entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record of creative problem-solving and an unwavering determination to overcome obstacle
  • Solid understanding of growth marketing levers and user acquisition channels
  • Strong project management skills, capable of bringing order to complex processes and converting challenges into structured action plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work effectively across various teams and influence strategic outcomes
  • Experience in recruitment, sourcing, or a similar role with global reach is highly beneficial

Our Interview Process

Talent Call - You'll meet with one of our Talent team and have an exploratory call about the role requirements, life at Prolific, as well as your background and aspirations.

Hiring Manager Interview - You'll interview with two members of the team, one of which will be the hiring manager. You'll have the opportunity to ask about the company and the role, and we'll ask you questions about your experiences and goals.

Panel Interview - We'll hold a panel interview that evaluates skills required for the role. You'll meet with more of our team and may be asked to complete a presentation or task.  You'll be compensated with a £50 voucher 💰 for completing the task because we know your time is valuable!

Final Interview - We will deep dive into your past experiences, goals, motivations, and skills all aligned to our Prolific Principles. You'll speak with two to three members of the team and - as always - have an opportunity to ask questions about the role and company.
