What you will work on

  • Develop clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company's brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs.
  • Leading and building content strategy and a team from scratch.
  • Analyzing content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs.
  • Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing.
  • Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
  • Delegating tasks to writers and editors and providing feedback.
  • Creating, adjusting, and managing the editorial calendar.
  • Establishing style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content.
  • Developing a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research.

Requirements

  • Five (5)+ Years as a Technical Writer with similar experience as listed above
  • Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).
  • Experience working in a tech startup is highly desirable
  • Technical writing experience (writing APIs, Readme, Docs, etc)
  • Proven content strategy and project management experience.
  • Ability to work and design processes from scratch.
  • Possess strong content presentation skills.
  • Exceptional marketing and collaborative skills.

ProjectDiscovery Compensation

The total cash compensation range for this role’s listed level is currently $120,000 - $155,000 for U.S. located employees. Band level and salary ranges are determined through interviews, a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.  Non-U.S. located employees compensation will be based on Geo and the above parameters.
