About the Job

Join our dynamic and innovative team at Project A, where we strive to revolutionize our portfolio companies’ businesses through cutting-edge technology and customer-centric solutions. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission, driving the development of products that solve real-world problems and create meaningful impact.

As a Senior Product Manager at Project A, you will act as the dedicated product manager for our portfolio companies, taking ownership of the entire product lifecycle from ideation to execution. You will work across various industries, products, and company stages, staying flexible and adaptable to each unique situation. Your role will involve closely collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales, to define product strategy, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches. You will consistently strive to guide these teams in delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations and drive business growth for our clients.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work closely with our portfolio companies to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with their specific goals. Translate market insights, customer needs, and business objectives into a compelling product roadmap tailored to each company’s unique context
  • Take the lead in setting up product teams from scratch within our portfolio companies. Assess the existing environment and recommend organizational structures that best support the company's product goals and long-term success
  • Step into interim product roles across a variety of industries, working with B2C and B2B clients ranging from Series A startups to Private Equity-backed companies. Deliver value across different stages, from Pre-Seed to Mittelstand (SMEs) and PE
  • Engage with customers, gather feedback, and deeply understand their needs to shape product features and improvements. Champion the voice of the customer in all product decisions
  • Closely collaborate not only with the teams within the portfolio companies, like engineering, Design, and Marketing but also with Project A colleagues in these domains, ensuring that expertise and insights are effectively shared across all projects.
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions, track performance, and identify areas for improvement. Monitor product KPIs to ensure continuous growth and optimization.

Your Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience across different industries and company stages, including Series A to PE-backed companies, is highly valued
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual who is eager to take the initiative and drive the "Product" function forward both within Project A and across our portfolio companies. You should have a hands-on approach, ready to tackle challenges and implement solutions effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, with a willingness to adapt and iterate quickly
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in using data to drive decisions, with a solid understanding of product analytics, A/B testing, experimentation, and customer segmentation
