We are seeking a talented engineer to join us as a Senior Software Engineer(m/f/d). In this role you’ll join one of our portfolio companies to lead the cloud architectures in the field of AI and computer vision.
In your day to day work you’ll focus on building and enhancing state-of-the-art cloud products on a global scale? With your passion, your skills and your strong sense of ownership you will play a vital role in one of our Engineering teams to shape and deliver value to our customers.

In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the architectural and design decisions for product components in alignment with our strategic vision and technological standards.
- Take ownership of product components and drive the development of new features.
- Develop a robust cloud architecture using state-of-the-art technologies such as TypeScript, NestJS, GitLab CI/CD and Terraform.
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, tools, trends and methodologies to enhance products and practices.
- Define and advocate for cloud technologies and technical cloud architectures to address quality standards, monitoring, security and maintainability.
- Ensure seamless software release and delivery on our cloud-based platform through implementing GitOps principles.
- Continuously shape customer-facing APIs.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Capable to structure complex problems and the ability to identify and counteract potential obstacles.
- Skilled in full-stack JavaScript development, particularly with TypeScript; familiarity with React and NestJS is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including: Hands-on knowledge in a major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a preference for GCP.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with Terraform experience being a plus.
- Understanding of essential cloud infrastructure aspects like VPC, IAM, API Design, and Database management.
- Affinity towards well-crafted software through professional software engineering practices.
- Proactive attitude and a growth mindset, keen to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Proven ability to lead and make informed decisions in technology architecture and design.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English.
Please note that we are looking for support in the Vienna office or remote within Austria of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
