We're looking for a motivated Venture Development Manager to join our Venture Development team.
Our Venture Development Team is a group of ambitious business generalists who support our portfolio companies in all generalist areas and in everything else that our expert teams do not cover. They define and execute value-driving projects with our portfolio companies in areas such as project management, program management, internationalisation, operations development, Chief of Staff/Founder Associate responsibilities, interim management… and anything else that we see as a business priority for one of our ventures. They always assume responsibility, jump into unknown tasks with courage, go the extra mile, and most importantly shape and impact our precious company culture. They are a tight-knit group that supports and challenges each other and are always up for a good time together.

In this role, you’ll:
- Work on hands-on operational support in our portfolio companies
- Build-up and maintenance of the close relationship with our founders as well as a deep understanding of the ventures’ current challenges and opportunities
- Ensure the successful collaboration of our portfolio companies and our operational teams through excellent project- and stakeholder management
- Push our ventures to the next level through internationalisation, process optimisation or the build-up of new organisational units
Your Profile
- High ambition and drive to achieve excellent results
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Gained relevant work experience in a consultancy/agency, in an operational role in a start-up, or in the digital unit of a SME or corporate
- Good understanding of digital business models and operational responsibilities
- First solid examples in project, stakeholder, and change management, taking full responsibility for your projects
- Pragmatic, yet structured and a quick learner
- Feeling comfortable in a flexible, highly dynamic environment
- Professional demeanour to work with senior stakeholders
Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
