About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Field Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on conducting maintenance tasks, and delivering captivating demonstrations across Europe. Additionally, you will be heavily involved in the production process, leveraging your practical experience in mechanical and advanced technical systems.
Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead and present captivating demonstrations of our products to prospective clients and partners, highlighting their features and advantages
- Organise and implement product maintenance activities, guaranteeing the best performance of our systems for our clients
- Be an integral part of the production process, utilising your hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and vehicle systems, to contribute to the creation, assembly, and testing of our systems
- Manage technical sales operations, fostering relationships with clients and potential customers, and offer ongoing support post-purchase to ensure client contentment
Your Profile
- You are a motivated and dynamic individual with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation
- Practical experience in the fields of mechanical engineering or advanced technical systems, with a strong understanding of manufacturing, assembly and test processes
- You work independently and demonstrate the ability to prepare and execute tasks autonomously
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe for demos and client meetings
- Understanding customer requirements and transforming then to our products
- Experience in sales is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
