The Role:

As a full-time Product Management instructor at Product School, your main responsibility is delivering high-quality training primarily for Enterprise, but also consumer-facing cohorts. You'll effectively communicate and collaborate with the Enterprise Customer Success team, Enterprise clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely interactions and successful delivery. You'll also contribute to updating content for clients or consumer cohorts and provide product management expertise to support cross-functional teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product.

What you'll do:

  • Provide product management insights and expertise to students looking to make career changes into product management or looking to work better with product managers in their day-to-day.
  • Provide instruction on product management fundamentals, advanced topics, and best practices to enterprise customers.
    • Work with clients to modify and adjust curriculum to match their needs.
    • Identify key topics of interest with clients that may require new content creation.
    • Create case studies as needed to support reinforcement of concepts and topics.
    • Incorporate your relevant experience and storytelling into content to increase training relevancy to the audience.
  • Work with sales to help close enterprise opportunities.
  • Provide career and resume support for students via office hours.
  • Provide instructor training and support for our contract instructors to help guide them through topics and exercises before cohorts start.
  • Work with the content team to create new materials for new classes, and revise/revisit existing materials for currently offered courses.

This role could be a good fit for you if:

  • You have 8+ years of product management experience.
  • You have 3+ years of product leadership experience (VP or above) at Series A companies or above (not a tiny startup).
  • You worked at both Fortune 500 companies with a strong product culture (Google, Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, etc.) and high-growth startups (Zoom, 1Password, etc.).
  • You are experienced in creating quality content.
  • You are experienced in working with external stakeholders (not just internal).
  • You can learn quickly and adjust (critical for this role).
  • You worked on B2B products as well as B2B2C products.

The perks:

  • Remote First - our team works remotely across multiple countries and time zones
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage in the US - support for additional coverage is available in Spain
  • Company Team Offsites and Coworking - we believe that remote-first doesn’t mean remote-only
  • Free Product School Course Offerings - we offer a range of courses and certifications worth $15,000 that we readily encourage our employees to explore
  • Monthly Internet Reimbursement - we support our team, wherever they’re working from
  • Parental leave

The compensation package offered for this position is between $200,000-$240,000. Please note this is a range and actual salary may vary based on work experience and qualifications, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.  Additionally, this compensation package could consist of other components, such as equity and/or performance bonus.

We require that candidates be located in the country/countries specified. We are unable to hire outside of the country/countries specified or provide or take over sponsorship at this point in time.  Applicants MUST be authorized to work in the listed country of hire without sponsorship.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
