The Role:

This Market Development Representative role is an exciting expansion of our go-to-market team, where sales strategy meets market strategy meets grit. As an MDR at Productiv, you will be responsible for nurturing inbound leads with personalized outreach to create meaningful relationships and be an educator and advocate for the buyer to help meet their needs by providing value. Reporting to our Director of Demand Generation, this role sits at the center of the action, partnering closely with Account Executives, Marketing and Operations. You must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and a mind for understanding pain points and uncovering opportunities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $54,000 - $72,000. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities:

  • It takes innovation, tenacity & a desire for fast growth to excel in this role 
  • You will be responsible for nurturing and engaging inbound leads, to meet the prospect in the moment to build relationships with key influencers, decision makers and executives 
  • You will own delivering personalized experiences to drive target buyers to our webinars, tradeshows and events and follow-up thereafter to get feedback and gauge interest to continue conversations
  • You will be responsible for a strategic account list and building relationships with new prospects, discovering needs, pain points and opportunities to deliver value, then guiding qualified prospects to next steps 
  • Weekly/regular communication and strategy with Account Executives to align on account and prospect strategy, partner and execute 
  • Ongoing training and learning from your peers and team leads on sales tactics, skill building and operationalizing 
  • Regular product training to understand how to build a strong sales muscle and perfect your pitch style
  • Problem solving and organizing multi-faceted strategies with a customer-first mindset

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year experience in cold-calling and sales/business development experience
  • Software/saas experience or other related tech space business experience
  • Great attitude, coachable, strong work-ethic, and goal-oriented with a competitive nature to be a top performer
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, or similar 
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills 
  • A skilled organizer and problem solver
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team 
  • This role is required to be in our Palo Alto, CA office 3 days a week at the minimum
