Our products use AI to create next-generation speech analytics that support real-time agent guidance, automated notes after conversations, and call analysis for quality assurance and compliance.

Debt has such a massive impact on consumers and prior to Prodigal, the industry was saddled with painful, low value manual workflows, and poor customer experience- our mission is to humanize the debt repayment process through automation and data.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software components and services within the ProdigalTech platform. This includes developing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Platform Enhancement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform by optimizing existing systems, adding new features, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure the successful delivery of platform features.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise in the development and production environment.
  • Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in software development and apply them to our platform development processes.
  • Code Review: Actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and support for fellow team members. 

Job Requirements 

  1. Must-Have :
  • 2-3 years of good experience. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.
  • A passion for software development and a desire to learn and grow as an engineer.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment     

       2. Good-to-Have :

  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, or cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
