Outside Sales

Outside Sellers are responsible for owning sales end-to-end for their region.  They provide expertise to customers and work with internal teams to drive both sales and customer satisfaction. Sellers will be tasked with initial phone consults and qualification, scheduling in-home interviews and measurement-taking sessions, submitting measurements to be used to drive quotations/estimations, and follow-up/closing of contracts with homeowners/customers.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the face of Pro.com and the trusted advisor to your customers while providing 5-star customer service
  • Educate the customer on the value of the Pro.com experience
  • Understand the customer's vision for their project and translate that vision for internal teams
  • Identify and respond to the motivations and objections of potential customers
  • Provide customers with timely updates and correspondence to progress the sales cycle forward
  • Improve process, content, methods and best practices to elevate individual and team performance

Required Skills & Experience

  • Construction and in-home sales experience are valued
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with multiple business groups/functions to fulfill team goals
  • Strong history of achievement
  • History of strong ownership, initiative, and ingenuity 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A valid AZ driver's license, insurance and access to a reliable vehicle

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Customer-centric selling skills are a plus
  • The ability to read architectural plans/drawings are a plus
  • CRM and electronic systems familiarity is a plus
  • Project Coordination, Project Management, and Construction experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and experience is a plus
