What you'll be doing

  • Improve upon & update database architecture as needed

  • Improving upon pre-existing platforms by implementing features that more effectively support & enable internal teams

  • Develop cross-platform internal apps/tools for the Presso service team to monitor robots, manage inventory, automate customer success, etc.

  • Develop cross-platform consumer-facing applications to enable anyone to use a Presso anywhere in the world

  • Develop testing platforms, procedures, scripts, and frameworks

  • Building & Improving upon internal / external facing presso API's

 

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar degree required or 3+ years of equivalent industry experience

  • Strong understanding in data structures and algorithms

  • Experience with (or demonstrated ability to learn) our core development tools & technologies: React, AWS, Git, Javascript, Java, Node

  • Working knowledge of some of the following technologies: Java, Android Studio, VScode, React, React Native, Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse), CI/CD platforms ( Heroku, Netlify, Amplify ), Python, Low Code / BI Tools ( Metabase, Retool, Mixpanel ), Testing Frameworks (Jest, Cypress)

  • You are comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing team environment.

  • You can thrive in a small team environment with minimal to no documentation and process.

  • Working knowledge of automated unit tests in backend and frontend technology stacks

  • Working knowledge of low/no code systems like Asana, Slack & Notion

  • A polyglot, familiar with both dynamic and statically typed languages

  • Experience performing light user-testing of features or prototypes with customers

  • Experience translating high-fidelity design mockups to working code

  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and possessing an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships
