This Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to ship new features across a specific area of functionality on our platform used by therapists, students, schools, and internal users. The ideal candidate for the role considers themselves as primarily a UX Designer but with experience in visual interaction design and UX research. This role will see you incorporate user research data and product requirements to produce designs that range from small features to complex experiences. You will be responsible for creating interaction flows from concept to iterative improvements, ensuring that our designs balance needs among our stakeholders, technology, and business.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to learn how therapists utilize video conferencing systems to conduct therapy sessions and assessments.
- Develop UX documentation (personas, experience maps, etc.) for parents who are looking for the right clinician after discovering their child has special needs
- Pair with developers to rapid prototype new user flows for entrepreneurial clinicians to craft their offering on our marketplace.
- Create annotated wireframes, specs, and assets for a collaborative YouTube video viewing system within our therapy platform that behavioral health professionals can use to teach social skills to children with autism.
- Redesign our onboarding process for our growing network of therapists and new users.
- Do a deep dive on the experience of parents with erratic schedules who need to create recurring appointments and gather requirements for a new type of mobile scheduling system
- Craft engaging experiences through interaction design to delight our users.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of design experience with workflow tool system design.
- Proficiency in creating developer-ready interfaces, flows, and documentation with supporting assets, specs, and annotations.
- Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, and Photoshop.
- Portfolio Submission Required
- Comfortable working with pre-established component libraries for consistent design.
- Proficient of user-centered design philosophy, process, and deliverables
- Understanding of WCAG and experience implementing accessibility standards.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, ability to work with remote teams.
- Exceptional portfolio of shipped products.
- You love to make things that improve people's lives at the intersection of education and healthcare.

An employee’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
$120,000.00 - $160,000.00

- This position may require additional travel for special projects, offsites, and events.
- All employees commit to being available on-camera for our Core Working Hours, noon-5 pm EST M-F.
