The Foundational Studies of the Children's House Diploma Training is now open for enrollment!

The Children's House Foundational Studies is the first section of our MACTE accredited Montessori Teacher Certification Diploma program and serves as an orientation to the principles and pedagogy needed to work with children from ages three to six in a Montessori environment.

This Foundational Studies is consisted of three components, 73 hours in total, including Saturdays and independent & asynchronous work: Intensive Course (45h), Targeted Studies 101 (16h), and Guided Materials Practice (12h). It blends intensive seminars and discussions about how the Montessori classroom works, with deep-dives into specific Montessori lessons and how they integrate with the whole curriculum. It can be taken anywhere you have an internet connection but we strongly recommend that you get an access to Montessori materials for the best outcome of your Guided Materials Practice.

After you finish your Foundational Studies, you'll have the chance to transfer your work to meet the prerequisites for our MACTE accredited Montessori Teacher Certification Diploma program. The completion of the Foundational Studies does not grant or not entitle you to be a lead teacher in a Montessori classroom. To become a fully certified lead teacher, you need to complete all the components of the diploma course. Our operation team will follow up with you on your diploma training enrollment decision.

Enrollment steps:
1. Please complete the online application below by May 14, 2021.

2. We will get back to you for follow up or with a decision by May 21, 2021.
