The Billings Specialist is responsible for the daily processing of billings and related inquiries, including; Posting billings, submitting invoices to clients through third party web portals, processing credit memos, answering cases in our billings queue from clients and partners, and providing excellent customer service . A successful Billings Specialist will maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations and be comfortable working cross collaboratively with internal departments and external revenue channels. As a part of a growing company, this individual must have the ability to prioritize, plan and organize for expected work to ensure the success of the team and the company.
Prioritize and respond to customer service billing cases for resolution or triage.
Once fully ramped, post daily billings for two revenue channels and make sure data flows through revenue reports correctly.
Function as subject matter expert on billing processes, systems, and work streams with respect to billings.
Work with internal support teams and external partner network to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Help with month end close.
Demonstrate your ability to respond to standard and non-standard requests from customers pleasantly, efficiently and with the highest level of professionalism.
Manage AR Aging by working closely with Partners and Account owners to find resolution to outstanding invoices.
Work with Billings Manager to analyze revenue reports.
Provide external audit assistance as required.
