About You:
You are a strong communicator (in writing and in person) who can weed through a mire of data and PowerPoint decks to discern challenges, identify gaps in knowledge, suggest how we might address those gaps (ideally and then also scrappily), and counsel the client as needed.
You are known for your problem-solving skills, simplifying the complex can tell an interesting tale and can pivot on a dime when needed.
You enjoy and are adept at moving between the big picture and the nitty gritty details.
You know how to ask good questions and demonstrate creativity and sensitivity in eliciting emotional responses that lead to larger insights.
You’re a proactive collaborator, both with agency team members and clients (current and prospective) to ensure strategic viewpoints are included at relevant meetings
About the Role: On any given day, you might be spending your time… • Becoming the internal expert and resource for the brand’s market landscape and developing situation analyses • Scoping and/or building out research to address critical gaps in knowledge or explore new opportunities for brands • Representing the voice of the customer/consumer and acts as strategic lead throughout the creative process • Participating in the development of brand foundational elements (brand vision, positioning & value prop, personality, brand narrative, etc.) and the tools used to uide their development (creative briefs, personas, etc.) • Developing and leading workshops and brand planning sessions that facilitate problem-solving and development of actionable initiatives and content • Develop and maintain the behavioral strat maps as tools to facilitate ongoing brand planning • Developing campaign creative briefs, leading an inspiring briefing or reviewing internal work to ensure its on brief and customer-centric • Participating in discovery meetings to ensure projects are on strategy • Collaborating internally to review core campaign initiatives, programs and tactics to ensure consistency with the brand strategy • Looking for new opportunities and ideas to put in front of brand teams
