A day in the life:
- As a Data Scientist in our technology team, your daily activities will involve tackling intricate data challenges and leveraging machine learning algorithms to provide actionable insights. You'll engage in agile development processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams during sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog management. Your role will encompass various aspects of machine learning, including model development, optimization, and validation. This role will play a crucial part in advancing Power Digital’s capabilities and supporting our clients with innovative machine-learning solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
- Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced machine learning algorithms and models, tackling complex data challenges at a strategic level.
- Lead comprehensive data analysis, including advanced feature engineering and data preprocessing, to derive critical insights from complex datasets.
- Lead evaluation, development and deployment of proprietary fine-tuned Large Language Models, with a focus on achieving superior accuracy, precision, and interpretability.
- Partner with diverse teams, providing leadership and direction to translate business objectives into sophisticated machine learning initiatives and solutions.
- Lead the exploration and adoption of cutting-edge advancements in machine learning and data science, applying innovative techniques to enhance model capabilities and performance.
- Design and oversee complex experiments to validate hypotheses and refine models, ensuring predictive accuracy and business relevance.
- Communicate complex technical findings and insights compellingly to a non-technical audience, influencing strategic decisions and promoting a data-driven culture.
Role Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience building and maintaining machine learning systems (configuration, data collection, data verification, feature extraction, resource and process management, analytics, training, serving, validation, experimentation, monitoring)
- Understanding of ML techniques and algorithms (supervised vs. unsupervised learning, regression, recommendation, etc)
- Strong knowledge of model building & validation procedures
- Experience with R, Python, SQL or other programing languages.
- Good analytical, critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science).

- Model Accuracy and x` Precision: Measure the accuracy and precision of machine learning models in predicting outcomes.
- Data Exploration Efficiency: Ensure efficient data exploration and feature engineering to enhance model performance.
- Model Iteration Speed: Measure the speed at which models can be developed, tested, and refined to adapt to evolving data patterns.

- Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to identify opportunities for ML solutions that will create operational efficiencies, provide valuable insights for clients, and/or contribute to our profitability pillars
- Develop and maintain accurate and efficient ML pipeline and analysis workflows.
- Continuously refine and innovate data analysis techniques to stay ahead in the dynamic digital marketing landscape.
