About the Team:
Join our dedicated Data Encryption team at Postman, where we're focused on empowering enterprise customers with enhanced security and control over their data in the cloud. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) initiatives, enabling customers to retain full ownership of the keys to secure their data on the cloud.

What you’ll do:

Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to grasp user requirements. Craft precise technical specifications for product features and implement them.

Architect scalable APIs tailored for use across various internal Postman teams. Engage closely with Postman developers to ensure seamless adoption.

Enhance operational efficiency by fine-tuning performance and bolstering the availability of production systems.

Conduct thorough code reviews, actively contributing to the platform's overall maturity.

Enforce high standards of software engineering across team members, fostering continuous improvement.
About You:

You have at least 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience.

You have a proven track record of developing APIs utilized by millions of users across the globe while navigating fast release cycles.

You have a deep understanding of the capabilities and constraints of distributed systems and microservices patterns.

You demonstrate empathy towards users, ensuring products are intuitively usable and meet their needs effectively.

You have good written and verbal communication skills that are evident in how you collaborate with your peers within or outside your team.
Nice to have:

Experience building and operating Golang microservices at scale

Experience building user interfaces with React
